Senior BIS II Controller

Job description
As a Senior BIS II Controller you are responsible for ensuring the validation of the monthly Rabobank International (RI) BIS II reporting. In order to achieve this, you manage the monthly reporting process of BIS II data and reconciliations. Where appropriate, you interpret and resolve the reasons for movements. The Team BIS II RI reports functionally to the Head of HAID and BIS II and is located within the department Control Risk & Information Services (CRIS).
You coordinate and support 25 international Rabobank entities to deliver their BIS II data and reconciliations with high quality and on time. To resolve differences, you communicate with entities to encourage them to solve the issues that arise. You investigate and analyse transactions where local entities require additional expertise. In case of major unsolved items you make sure (higher) management gets involved. On a monthly basis you perform detailed SOX 404 controls.
The person we are looking for will be naturally curious and takes great pride in delivering high quality output to our management and internal customers.
Department
This vacancy is an open position in the BIS II RI team within the Control & Risk Information Services (CRIS) department, which is a joint venture of Control Rabobank Group (CRG) and Control RI (CRI). The BIS II reporting is provided to and discussed with Finance Rabobank International, CRI, CRG and Group Risk Management. BIS II RI is a dedicated, high performance team responsible for controlling and validating the BIS II RI reporting. The team is currently 4 persons strong and has a very can-do attitude. We pride ourselves on delivering quality results. Dutch is usually spoken within the BIS II team, but allowances will be made for someone learning the language.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Graduate in Finance, Economics or Accounting (MA/BA)
- At least 7 years of working experience as a controller
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience within wholesale banking
- Knowledge of and experience with Basel II
- Knowledge of and experience with management and financial reporting practices
- IT affinity and experience with complex IT migration projects

Location
You will be working in Utrecht, Croeselaan 18.
We offer
Depending on your previous experience and educational level, this position is classified in function scale 10 or 11 (min. € 4191,83 - max. € 6998,37) of the Rabobank Collective Agreement. (Fringe) Benefits and terms of employment are excellent, as would be expected of Rabobank Group. This is a fulltime job.
